What is Shavuot?
The Day the Torah Was Given to Every Jew
Shavuot — Hebrew for “weeks” — marks the moment at Mount Sinai when the Jewish people received the Torah together as one. It's a holiday that belongs to every single Jew, no matter where you're coming from or how much you already know.
At Chabad of Mendham & Chester, we celebrate Shavuot the way it's meant to be celebrated: with warmth, meaning, and yes — a lot of delicious dairy treats. Come hear the Ten Commandments read aloud, enjoy Dippin' Dots with the kids, and experience this ancient moment of connection in a whole new way.
All are welcome. No experience necessary. Just bring yourself (and maybe an appetite).
